When choosing a facility to Archive your media the most important thing to consider is the machinery used to play the media. The machines over time stop working correctly. At the very bottom of a Video Cassette Recorder under the Head, Stator & Carriage are rubber belts. They dry rot & MUST be replaced. All the moving parts inside the machine are greased from the factory. The grease dries out & has to be removed & new grease applied. That is the only way you can ensure the best image quality.

Audio is also very important. We come out of the left & right XLR outputs. Ensuring the highest quality & split Mono audio. For example: if you have a video with an interview on one channel & the music on the other, you want to keep those separate so you can remix the audio.
